Untapped Cities: Over 500 Old Pictures of NYC Added to GVSHP’s Historic Image Archive. “The Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation (GVSHP) has provided the public with wonderful archives full of old pictures of New York City to help preserve the architectural heritage and culture of Greenwich Village, East Village, and NoHo. The GVSHP has assembled several archives over the years, all of which were donated to the preservation. And now, the archives have just gotten even bigger, with Carole Teller generously donating over 500 images that she captured of New York City from the early 1960s to the early 1990s.”
